Toddle’s Roadmap & Feature Requests portal gives you a single place to share feedback and stay informed about what we’re building next. You can submit new feature requests, upvote existing ones, and view our product roadmap to track what’s planned or in progress.
This article will cover :
View the roadmap and feature requests
Submit new feature requests
Upvote, comment and track a feature request
Understand the status of the requests
View the roadmap and feature requests
You can access the Roadmap and feature requests dashboard in two ways:
Homepage > Bulb icon (Learn and Inspire) > Roadmap and Feature requests
Magic tray > Request a feature
Note: Only Programme Admins, IT Admins, and Super Admins can access this dashboard and log new feature requests.
Here is what you will see on the dashboard:
Boards: Feature requests grouped by Toddle modules, with each board showing the total number of requests for that module.
Roadmap: Requests organized by status:
Planned - Requests that have been accepted and planned
Building now - Requests that are under development
Completed- Requests that are completed and live on the platform.
Feature cards: Show the associated module and number of upvotes.
Submit new feature requests
To submit a feature request:
Choose how you want to navigate:
Roadmap > Boards > [Module name] > Create feature request
Feedback > [Module name] > Create feature request
Add a short, descriptive title
As you start typing the title, the system automatically shows suggested existing requests
If a similar request already exists, open it and upvote it instead of creating a new request
Provide additional details explaining the need or context for the feature
In the Category field, choose the relevant submodule
If the request applies to the entire module, select Uncategorized
Attach supporting files such as images, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, data files, or videos. All attachments must be 8 MB or smaller.
Click Create Post to submit your request.
Once submitted, your request appears on the dashboard, where other users can upvote or comment on it. You can edit your feature request at any time, and delete it only if it has no comments and no votes from other users.
You will receive notifications on the dashboard and via email when the status of a feature request you created, upvoted, or commented on changes.
Upvote, comment and track a feature request
You can open a feature request to track, upvote or comment in either of the following ways:
Click on a feature request directly from the roadmap view, or
Click on a board and select a feature request listed under that module
In the feature request view, you can:
View the current status of the request to understand its progress
Upvote an existing request by clicking the arrow icon next to the title
Add a comment in the comment box to share additional context, use cases, or feedback
Any upvotes or comments you add are linked to your account and help Toddle to understand demand and priority.
Understand the status of the requests
A feature request can have the following statuses:
No status - Default for all the new feature requests until the Toddle team reviews it and updates the status
Considering – The request is being evaluated by the Toddle team
Planned – Requests that have been accepted and planned
Building now – The request is under development
Beta – The feature is live with limited availability
Completed – The feature has been completed and is live on the platform
In future – The request may be considered later, but no immediate action is planned
You can use the filter options to view feature requests by status. Additionally, you can switch to My Own to see only the requests you have created or interacted with, or My Teams to view feature requests that others in your school have voted on.
