As a school administrator, you can easily access and monitor Toddle usage and engagement by staff, students, and families in your school. Track curriculum-wide or school-wide insights and choose the time period for which you wish to view the data. Read this article to learn in detail about these features.

Access the ‘Insights’ module from your preferred curriculum homepage.

Upon entering, you will find insights organized into two main tabs:

Engagement insights provide various metrics to help you track how actively your staff, students, and families are using Toddle. By default, the data displayed covers the last 7 days of the current curriculum/programme. However, you can change the duration and view data for any other curriculum or multiple curriculums in one go using the filters shown below. Let’s dive deeper into each user group’s insights.

The ‘by staff’ tab provides an overview of staff engagement, highlighting the number of active staff members out of the total for the selected time duration and programme(s). The percentage shown next to the number of active staff members indicates the increase or decrease compared to the previous week/month/academic year, based on the selected time duration. The graph below displays the daily activity trend of staff members during the selected time period.

💡 Active staff members refer to those who have logged into Toddle and interacted with the platform during the selected time duration.

Below the graph, a detailed report lists individual staff members' basic information, their activity levels, and engagement with various modules on Toddle, such as the number of units created, assignments created, portfolio posts liked, announcements created and messages sent, for the selected time duration and programme(s). This helps administrators monitor staff engagement and identify areas for improvement.

💡 The ‘Messaging’ column will only be visible if your school has subscribed to Toddle Connect. Additionally, the data shown for messages is independent of the selected programme(s).

To configure specific columns within the table, click on the highlighted icon and select the applicable ones, as shown below. Some columns are disabled by default, but you can enable them as per your preferences.

💡 Connected family members refer to those who have successfully logged in and established a connection with their child(ren) on the family portal. Active family members refer to those who have logged into Toddle and interacted with the platform during the selected time duration.

Below the graph, a detailed report lists individual family members' basic information, their activity levels, and engagement with various modules on Toddle, such as the number of posts viewed, announcements received, attendance excusals raised, and messages sent. This helps administrators monitor family engagement and identify areas for improvement.
