If your teacher has sent you a reminder or left you a private message, you will see a badge next to the assignment.
You'll also be alerted via a notification under the bell icon on your homepage. Here you will find all notifications related to your worksheet under the ‘Assignments’ tab. Simply click on the notification and it will directly take you to the worksheet.

You will land on the page shown in the screenshot below, where you'll find detailed information about your worksheet task, including the maximum score, question count, instructions, and any assessment tools tagged to the worksheet.
💡Please note that your teacher may have tagged separate assessment tools to individual questions in addition to the overall assessment tool tagged to the worksheet that you see on the homepage. You can view these additional assessment tools once you start attempting the worksheet.
The page's footer displays the due date, reminding you of the submission deadline, and the allocated time duration for the worksheet, if specified. Clicking on the ‘Messaging’ tab in the top right corner will open the messaging window in the right pane, showing you any private messages sent by your teacher or any updates to the worksheet settings. You can easily respond to these messages or ask any questions even before you start the assignment using the space at the bottom. Teachers will receive an in-app notification immediately when you send them a message, and you’ll be notified when they reply. In addition to the in-app notification, email notification will be sent to both sides if the message remains unread for more than five minutes.
To begin working on the worksheet, simply click the ‘Start Worksheet’ button.

Once you open this browser, you won’t be able to access any other applications or browsers on your device unless you exit the Safe Exam Browser.
Starting the worksheet
Upon entering the worksheet, the timer starts for timed assignments. The top bar displays the timer, an option to view the instructions, and total marks. You will see all the questions with their respective maximum marks. Click on the icon next to the question score to view any linked ‘Assessment tools’ for individual questions.
You can answer the questions in any order, irrespective of the question type - text response, fill in the blanks, true or false, etc. For text response questions, you may also have the option to upload attachments if your teacher has enabled it. For graphing and drawing questions, you can edit the graph and canvas, if allowed.
As you complete each question, a green tick mark will appear on the right side. You can also keep track of the number of questions you have attempted in the right pane.
Additionally, if the lock screen setting is active, switching tabs will prompt you to explain the reason for doing so, after which you can resume your work.
Furthermore, If your teacher has enabled the on-screen scientific calculator, you can use it for your calculations.
After completing all questions, you can submit your work by clicking on the ‘Submit’ button. If you wish to take a break or double-check your answers, the ‘Save and exit’ option allows you to save your progress and come back later. This option is also available for timed assignments. However, please note that the timer continues to run even when you are not working on the worksheet, and it will automatically submit once the time is up.
💡Please note that the ‘Save and exit’ option is not available for assignments with a locked screen or those opened in the Safe Exam Browser. It's important to note that once you submit, the submission becomes final and cannot be reversed.
