As a family member, you can stay informed about various happenings at your child’s school by checking announcements on Toddle. This ensures you never miss out on essential information shared by the school. You can access announcements both through the Toddle web platform and the Toddle app. Read this article to learn more.

To access school announcements, click on the ‘Announcements’ card on your homepage. The numbered badges on the card help you quickly spot new announcements published by the school.
Alternatively, you can use the bell icon at the top right corner of your homepage and go to the ‘Announcements’ tab in the notification panel to access all recent announcements. Clicking on any will take you to the ‘Announcements’ page to view its details.
On the landing page of ‘Announcements’, you will see a left panel that displays a list of all announcements, with the latest one at the top. Selecting an announcement from the list shows its full details on the right, including the title, description, sender's name, and date. You can also download any attached media files.
The ‘Mark all as read’ option in the left panel helps you mark all announcements as read in one go. This is helpful when handling large volumes of announcements.
Quickly find specific announcements by entering keywords in the search bar at the top right. You can also filter the announcements based on your needs using the filter option in the left panel.
Clicking on the filter icon will open a modal with the following filtering options:
Created by: This lists all staff members who have published an announcement. You can choose one or more names from here.
Class(es): This tab will show a list of classes your child is tagged to. You can select one or more classes from here to view announcements specific to those classes.
Published Date: You can filter and view announcements based on the date they were published.
Status: The ‘Status’ tab allows you to filter announcements by read/unread status, helping you focus on unread or previously missed announcements.
Once filters are selected, click ‘Apply’ to view the filtered announcements. To reset a specific filter, you can click the ‘Reset’ option, next to that filter. To clear all applied filters and return to the full list of announcements, you can use the ‘Reset all’ option at the bottom of the filter panel.
Using these filters, you can easily focus on the most relevant announcements and stay informed and up to date.
If the sender chooses to send an announcement via email, you will also receive an email notification as shown below.
Furthermore, if you have multiple children linked to your account, you can use the child switcher to access their announcements through the Announcements tab.

To access school announcements on the Toddle app, tap on the ‘Announcements’ card on your homepage.
On the next screen, you'll see all announcements listed in chronological order, with the latest one at the top.
Alternatively, you can use the bell icon at the top right corner and go to the ‘Announcements’ tab in the notification panel to access all recent announcements. Clicking on any will take you to the ‘Announcements’ page to view its details.
Selecting an announcement from the list shows its full details, including the title, description, sender's name, and date. Using the three-dot menu, you can also download any attached media files.
The filter icon on the top right corner will help you narrow down your search while searching for a particular type of announcements. You can also quickly find specific announcements by entering keywords using the search icon next to the filter icon. The ‘Mark all as read’ option helps you mark all announcements as read in one go.
Tapping on the filter icon will open a set of filtering options that allows you to customize what announcements you see. The available filter options are:
