Toddle Academy is Toddle’s self-paced learning hub, where educators and school administrators can build their Toddle skills through structured certification courses. Courses are organized by curriculum, so you can focus on content that is most relevant to your programme.

Explore your curriculum's courses
To begin, navigate to:
Toddle homepage → Learn and inspire icon (top right corner) → Toddle Academy
Toddle Academy organizes all courses by curriculum. Select the tab for your programme to view the courses available.
Within each curriculum tab, courses are grouped into three categories:
Certification courses for Teachers: Foundations covering curriculum planning, classroom operations, and assignments on Toddle
Certification courses for Admins: Foundations focused on the admin portal, school-wide reporting, and programme configuration
Toddle Ultimate Courses: Additional courses on specific platform features, including Behaviour Management, AI Tutors, Worksheets, and AI Insights
Certificate courses for IB MYP Project supervisors, and coordinators (MYP only): Dedicated courses on Community Projects, Personal Projects, and Service as Action
Certificate courses for IB DP Core advisors, coordinators and supervisors (DP only): Dedicated courses on CAS, Extended Essay, and Theory of Knowledge
Each curriculum tab also includes a Resources section at the bottom. This contains an Academy 101 collection with handy guides on how to take courses on Toddle Academy. We recommend going through this before starting your first course.
Take a course
Find a course in your curriculum tab and click View on the course card to open its details page. The details page shows the course title, description, estimated duration, and a full outline of the sections within the course.
Click Start to begin the course. If you have previously started the course, click Continue to pick up where you left off.
Inside the course, the left panel shows all sections and the individual lessons within each one. Work through each section in order. Each course includes a combination of the following:
Videos: Watch at your own pace using the playback controls. You can pause, switch to full-screen mode, or adjust the playback speed.
Do-it-now tasks: Hands-on tasks that guide you to practice features directly on Toddle. Use your Training class on the Toddle homepage to complete these. Actions taken in the Training class do not affect your live classroom data.
Checkpoint questions: Short quizzes to check your understanding at key points. An explanation appears when you select the correct answer.
Exit ticket: A final assessment at the end of the course.
You must complete all sections in the course to mark it as complete. You can pause at any time and return later, your progress is saved automatically.
Track your progress
The My Trainings tab, accessible from the navigation bar at the top of the Academy homepage, gives you a consolidated view of all courses you have enrolled in. It is divided into three sub-tabs:
All Trainings: A complete list of every course you have enrolled in across all curricula
In Progress: Courses you have started but not yet completed, with the percentage of completion shown on each card
Completed: Courses you have finished
Earn a certificate of mastery
At the end of each course, you can unlock a certificate of mastery by scoring 85% or above across all sections within it.
When you earn your certificate, Toddle Academy sends you an email with a direct link to access it. You can also access it by going to My trainings, opening the completed course, and clicking View certification on the course details page. From there, you can copy a public link, add it to LinkedIn, or download it.
If you complete a certification course but do not score 85% or above you can retake it by going to My Trainings on the Academy homepage and clicking on the course to open it. Click Review on the course page, or use the link in the email you received. This takes you back into the course with all sections available in the left panel. Work through the content at your own pace. When you reach a checkpoint, you will see an option to answer the questions again. Complete the assessment at the end of the course. If you score 85% or above, your certificate will be unlocked.
If you have already earned a certificate and want to revisit the content, go to My Trainings, open the Completed tab, find the course, and click on it to open the course page. Click Review to go back into the course.
You can browse all sections and rewatch any videos, but the checkpoint questions cannot be retaken for a course you have already passed (scored 85% or above).
Join an event
The Events tab on the Academy homepage features on-demand recordings of webinars hosted by Toddle. These sessions cover curriculum-specific topics such as year-end planning, programme reflection, and key platform features. Click View on any event card to read about the webinar and access any resources shared during the session. To watch the recording, click Access Content.
