The school library is your centralized hub for accessing all unit plans, learning experiences, assessments, quick tasks, and worksheets created within your school on Toddle.
All unit plans, learning experiences, assessments, quick tasks, and worksheets created by any teacher are automatically saved in the school library, ensuring a centralized repository for seamless access and collaboration. To explore your school’s unit library and learning experience/assessment Library, click on the ‘School library’ card on your homepage.
Unit library
In order to view and import units, click on the ‘Units’ tab on the side panel.
Here, you'll find a comprehensive collection of units created by you and other educators in your school for various classes and subjects across different academic years. You can either use the search bar to search for a specific unit or utilize the filters for academic year, grade, creator, and subjects to refine your search.
To access options for a particular unit, click on the three dots menu next to the unit.
💡The available options may vary based on your access rights.
Edit unit: If you have editing permissions, you can modify the unit's content. This option may be disabled if you don't have the necessary access rights.
Import in class: This allows you to bring the unit into your own class. This will efficiently create an editable copy of the unit for your own class. To learn more about importing units, refer to this article.
Print unit: You can generate a printable version of the unit. This option is available to all users who can view the unit.
Share unit: If you have the appropriate permissions, you can share the unit with other educators.
Please note that the availability of these options can vary depending on your role (e.g., educator or school administrator) and the specific sharing settings of each unit.
Learning experiences/assessments library
The ‘Learning experiences and assessments’ tab allows you to access a variety of learning experiences, assessments, quick tasks, and worksheets created by you and other teachers of your school across different classes and academic years.
To access options for a particular LE/task, click on the three dots menu next to the LE card.
💡The available options may vary based on your access rights.
Edit: If you have editing permissions, you can modify the contents of the particular LE or task. This option may be disabled if you don't have the necessary access rights.
Add to unit: If you wish to add an existing LE or task to a unit, go to the three-dot menu highlighted below and click on the ‘Add to your unit’ option. A new copy of the task is created and added to your unit.
Assign to students: If you wish to directly assign your students a task from here, simply click on the ‘Assign to students’ option.
Print: You can generate a printable version of the LE or task. This option is available to all users who can view the LE/task.
