Learning Experiences on Toddle Community provide a general outline which may include objectives, needed materials, step-by-step procedures, discussion questions and helpful graphic organizers, thinking routines and much more! The learning experience can be edited to accommodate your teaching needs and easily added while planning your unit.
You can add learning experiences from Toddle Community directly to unit plans in your unit library while planning your unit -
Step 1: Select the grade level with the unit where you want to add learning experiences.
Step 2: Select ‘Planning’ from the navigation menu on the left side of the page and click on Units of Inquiry to view all units.
Select the unit in which you need to add the Learning Experience by clicking on ‘View Unit’.
Step 3: Click on ‘Implementing’ from the menu on the top of the page and select ‘Learning Experiences’ by clicking on the heading or on the arrow.
Step 4: Here, click on ‘Search on Toddle Community’
Click on ‘+Add a learning experience’ and select ‘ Search on Toddle Community’ to browse through a variety of Learning Experiences.
Step 5: The ‘Search on Toddle Community window will open on your screen.
Easily search for learning experiences to suit your teaching needs by typing the name of the learning experience in the search bar or by clicking on ‘All Learning Experiences’ drop-down and selecting ‘My Bookmarks’ if you have previously bookmarked any learning experiences on Toddle Community.
Step 6: Select learning experiences by clicking on the title and preview it to check if the learning experience suits your teaching needs before adding to your unit.
Step 7: Click on ‘Add’ as the final step in the process and the Learning Experience will automatically get added to your Learning Experience collection.
Through this simple search from within your unit, you can access and add from hundreds of learning experiences on Toddle Community.
