Toddle supports integrations with external learning tools, providing students and teachers with seamless access to the resources they regularly utilize. In this article, we will explore how Toddle integrates with Kognity.
Set up Kognity in Toddle
As an admin, you can set up integration with tools from Toddle’s pre-configured catalog that support the LTI 1.1 or 1.3 standards.
To begin:
1. Navigate to Admin portal→Other settings→Integration.
2. Within the ‘Integration’ tab, select ‘LTI apps’ from the left pane.
3. Click the ‘+Add’ button and select ‘Add from catalog’.
Tip: For partner tools like Kognity, always use the catalog option. The custom app setup is only meant for tools not listed in Toddle’s catalog. To learn how to set up a custom tool, refer to this article.
4. Select Kognity from the catalog.
5. A pop-up will appear showing the LTI details for Kognity, including:
Client ID
Client Secret
Access Token
Region
6. Copy the credentials from the pop-up and paste them into Edlink, a third-party integration platform used by Kognity to manage connections with learning tools like Toddle.
This is a one-time setup. Once saved, your Kognity integration is ready to use.
The integration will appear as a card showing the tool name, configured schools/programmes, and LTI version. From this card, you can:
View the credentials to copy to Edlink
Delete the tool if required
Note: The tool is configured for all the schools/programmes in your organization, by default.
